Alongside my work at The Be Journey, I coach and mentor leaders on the Executive Development Programme delivered by Corndel in partnership with Imperial Executive Education. I was recently invited to share my perspective on the role coaching plays within the programme.
The most powerful shift in leadership isn’t about doing more - it’s about becoming more aware.
In my experience, real change happens when leaders take the time to reflect, understand how they show up, and deepen their awareness of who they are being as leaders. It’s not defined by the title you hold - it’s shaped by your identity as a leader.
This is where coaching plays a critical role. It creates the space for honest reflection, clearer thinking, and more intentional leadership.
For me, this is where the real work happens - beyond what leaders do, and in who they are becoming.
